If you still haven’t upgraded your morning routine with a life-changing wake-up light, Amazon’s deeply discounting several different models as part of a Gold Box deal today.
For starters, the high-end HF3520 is down to an all-time low $95. This model features five different wake-up sounds, an FM radio, the ability to set two different alarms, and a color-shifting light that accurately mimics a sunrise.
If you don’t want to spend quite that much, the HF3506 is also marked down to $65. While it lacks its big brother’s color-shifting light and a few wake-up sounds, it does still include a radio, and its yellow light will still get your body ready for the morning.
And finally, the entry-level HF3500 is on sale for $49. This one doesn’t include a radio, and it only beeps—no natural wake-up sounds here—but the light works just as well as the 3506, and that’s what matters most. I’ve owned this model for a couple of years, and love it.
Bonus: This sale also includes a deal on Philips’ GoLITE BLU, which you use during the day to increase your energy levels, and fight off seasonal affective disorder. We haven’t covered this one extensively, but it does have solid reviews.
Just remember that this is a Gold Box deal, meaning these prices are only available today, so don’t sleep on it.
A lot of this men’s accessories sale is for cold weather like hats, scarves, and gloves, but there are a ton of wallet options (a few minimalist ones as well), belts and ties too. With their high-quality, think cashmere and leather, but low prices, these make perfect stocking stuffers, or you know, just for yourself.
ECCO has been around since the ‘60s but the timeless, comfortable styles of their men’s and women’s shoes are what’s on display today. Amazon’s Gold Box has ECCO men’s dress shoes, loafers, and sneakers, and women’s boots, sneakers and flats, for as low as $59. Trust me, these things will last, but this 24-hour sale will not.
USB-powered automotive jump starters might be the new hotness, but this Stanley battery maintainer trades portability for a key feature: A built-in air compressor.
Just like those compact jump starters, this thing can give your car a jolt without flagging down a fellow traveler from a jump, but it can also inflate your tires from anywhere. That means no more fumbling for quarters at a gas station, just to have the air compressor turn off before you could get to all of your tires. I keep one of these in my trunk, and I love it.
This deal has been available a couple of times over the last few weeks, but it tends to sell out quickly.
Ferrero Rocher chocolates are so classy, Donald Trump uses the wrappers as wallpaper in his apartments. Believe me, folks. Amazon’s offering a 15% coupon on a 48-count box today, which means that you too can live a life of luxury. Just remember that you won’t see your discount until checkout.
We’re all supposed to drink more water, but that’s a whole lot easier when there’s carbonation involved, so for a limited time you can save 20% on Perrier and San Pellegrino packs on Amazon. Just add your favorite option to your cart, and you’ll see the discount at checkout.
Microfiber cloths are great for cleaning everything from your face, to your computer monitor, to your car (not to mention packing jewelry), and this 36-pack is back down to just $13 today on Amazon when you use Subscribe & Save (cancel anytime), or a couple bucks less than usual.
If you want a Big Green Egg charcoal grill, but don’t want to cash in your 401(k) to buy one, this Char-Griller alternative is down to an all-time low $240 today, and a great investment for meat lovers everywhere.
The Char-Griller Akorn Kamado Kooker features a 306 square inch cast iron cooking surface (which is most similar to the $829 large Big Green Egg), and traps heat inside a heavily-insulated stainless steel body. Our deal researcher, Corey, owns a BGE, and I asked him about it on Slack:
And I use my BGE for about 70% of meat meals.
Probably 90% during the warm months.
Best Father’s Day gift I’ll ever get.
Lana jokes that she’s the one who benefits most because I cook on it all the time.
Worth the price just for its ability to cook pizza, IMO.
But pork chops, lions, tenderloin are beyond incredible on it.
Obviously, this isn’t the “real thing,” but the consensus among Amazon reviewers is that it’s at least nearly as good, which sounds like a decent compromise considering it’s less than 1/3 of the price, and comes with a stable cart and folding shelves, both of which you’d need to buy separately with the Egg.
Update: Sold out
Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M700 isn’t going to set the world on fire (or play Crysis), but it’s absolutely tiny, easy to upgrade, and a great basis for a home theater PC.
$307 gets you a 128GB SSD, 4GB of RAM, and a 3.2GHz Core i3 processor with integrated Intel HD 530 graphics. That’s more than enough to, say, run a Plex server. Just note that this deal is only available today, or until sold out.
GreenWorks’ battery-powered lawn mowers are some of the most popular mowers on the market, electric or otherwise, and you can own a 19" model today for $280, an all-time low. That includes two batteries, which combined, should get you over an hour of mowing time.
If you can’t wait until Black Friday to score a new TV, this 50" 4K Samsung is a great bet at $500 (with promo code UHD50)
You might recall that the 55" version of this Samsung 4K TV was on sale during Prime Day. Well, I got it, and it’s fantastic. You get a great 4K upscaling engine, speedy smart apps, HDR support, and of course, an overall great picture. If you want some more takes, check out the set’s Amazon page, where it has a 4.4 star average on nearly 500 reviews.
Purell is right up there with oxygen and water on the hierarchy of needs for us germaphobes, and Amazon’s coming to the rescue with a Gold Box full of squeaky clean deals.
Inside, you’ll find everything from industrial dispensers to travel bottles to surface cleaner, all marked down to great low prices. Just remember that like all Gold Box deals, these prices are only available today, so get you’re before they’re cleaned out.
Update 2: Back in stock!
Update: Sold out, because we can’t have anything nice.
Just look how happy they are! I want to get on this thing and float to Bermuda.
You’re probably saying, “but Shep, I have an economy brand floating flamingo in my garage. Why do I need a Floatmingo?”
Stop talking. Your economy brand floating flamingo is dog shit compared to this. No cupholders, no “teathering gromits,” and nebulous weight capacity? Take that crap to Goodwill and lock in this deal.
Bodum’s pour-over coffee maker is as beautiful as it is functional, and Amazon’s marked it down to $17 today, the best price they’ve ever listed on the 34 ounce model. Hopefully, you take your coffee makers like you take your coffee: Black. Because that’s the only color on sale today.
Giant plugs that cover up half the outlets on your power strip should be outlawed, but until that day arrives, these short extension cords will have to do. $14 gets you a pack of 10, which should be enough for even the most advanced home theater setups.
In case you haven’t noticed, USB-C is taking over the world, and affordable chargers are popping up left and right. Today, we’ve got a battery pack, cable adapters, and a battery/wall charger combo (add both items to your cart). Just be sure to note the promo codes below.
Combo deal - add both to your cart:
While we’re on the topic of USB-C, a couple of discounted Aukey hubs can add all of the ports you need back to your new MacBook.
$22 gets you three USB-A ports, ethernet, and a passthrough USB-C charging port, while $30 adds an extra USB port, and replaces ethernet with HDMI. For comparison, Apple’s adapter includes one USB port and HDMI for a whopping $69.
If you want to upgrade to an energy-efficient tankless water heater, today might be the day to jump, as Amazon has the highly-rated Ecomsmart ECO 27 marked down to $336 as part of a Gold Box deal. That’s roughly $100-$150 less than usual, and an all-time low.
The energy savings are all well and good, but the real kicker with a tankless heater is unlimited hot water. That means your showers will never be cut short by the dishwasher again. As with all Gold Box deals, this price is only valid today, or until sold out.
Mpow’s extra large motion-sensing solar outdoor lights can illuminate your entire front or back yard, and you can get one for $16, or two for $30 today on Amazon. If you’ve ever tripped over your stoop or fumbled for your keyhole in the dark, this is a no-brainer.
Before you go out and spend hundreds of dollars on a DJI Phantom, you can learn the basics of flying a quadcopter with this $24 toy drone from Aukey.
Trust me, if you can fly this thing, you can fly a GPS-equipped, gyro-stabilized camera rig. And if not, well, it’s not like crashing it will be that big a deal. It would also make for great little holiday gift, if you want to cross some people off your list early.
Now that the Star Wars franchise is alive and well again, you can get caught up with the two original trilogies on Blu-ray for $30 each, complete with a bunch of special features. Place your bets on which one will sell better in the comments!
Nobody knows software better than our friends at Lifehacker, and Humble’s making it easy to augment your PC with a name-your-own-price bundle of some of the site’s favorite Windows apps.
We’ve broken it all down in this post, with links to Lifehacker to help you learn more about the software. Just remember that like most Humble Bundles, certain apps require you to pledge more money than others, so be sure you’re paying enough to get all of the apps you need.
Whether you need to catch up on your podcast backlog, or just like to sing in the shower, this water-resistant speaker is a great deal at $14. It’s hardly the only water-resistant speaker in this price range, but I appreciate the suction cup mount that allows you to stick it to your wall, and it boasts a 4.3 star average on over 4,000 reviews.
Sony’s iconic MDR-V6 over-ears are some of the best headphones you can buy for under $100, and today on BuyDig’s eBay storefront, they’ll only set you back $55. If you have any music lovers on your holiday shopping list, this is a great chance to cross them off early.
Need to get caught up on the Bourne series, now that it’s alive again? Amazon will sell you the Bourne Classified Collection on Blu-ray today for just $18, an all-time low.
That includes three great Bourne films, a disc full of special features, and also The Bourne Legacy. The box also includes an empty slot for Jason Bourne, once it comes out on Blu-ray. Today’s price is actually a couple bucks cheaper than a Gold Box deal from August, so don’t miss out.
While not nearly as good as the Prime-only deals we saw last month, if you’re in the market for a Kindle e-reader right this minute, you can save $20 today on several different models.
What’s that noise your car’s making? It’s all the crap rolling around in your trunk. Luckily, this $15 pop-up organizer will keep everything in its place. Just be sure to use code FC79ITGK at checkout to save $10.
Starbucks drinks are cheaper when you pull them out of your own fridge, especially when Amazon’s offering a 20% coupon. Just note that you won’t see the final price until checkout.
Whatever fancy new charging technology your phone supports, this $12 Aukey car charger will help you get the most juice out of your commute. $12 would be a good price for a charger with a USB-C port or a Quick Charge 3.0 port, but with this deal, you get both.
When Sony rolled out the new PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro, they also quietly tweaked the DualShock 4 controller, and eBay’s running the best deal we’ve seen on the new model.
This is basically the same gamepad you know and love, but with a futuristic looking light bar at the top of the touchpad, and the ability to communicate over USB when plugged into your console for lag-free input.
Before you go out and flush $30 down the drain on a Yeti Rambler, check out this RTIC alternative for just $12 on Amazon today, matching a Gold Box deal from several weeks ago. It uses the same vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction, and according to this YouTube video at least, actually keeps ice frozen for longer. No-brainer.
Can you believe that before the advent of detergent pods, humans used to measure and pour laundry detergent liquid into a washing machine manually? I don’t know how our ancestors got by. Anyway, if you’re running low, Amazon’s taking $3 off a whole assortment of Tide PODS and Gain detergent packs today. Just add your favorite to your cart, and you’ll see the discount at checkout.
The shower head that came preinstalled in your home or apartment is probably terrible, but if you don’t have the cash to upgrade it to a Delta In2ition, the Delta 75152 is a fantastic option at under $20.
Aside from a single switch that toggles between 1.75 and 1 gallons per minute, this showerhead doesn’t have any notable features to speak of. But I can tell you from years of experience that its water coverage is beyond excellent. Each of the four valves uses Delta’s H2Okinetic system to agitate the water and create a full, perfectly dispersed wall of water, rather than four individual streams. It’s a difficult sensation to describe, but I absolutely recommend you try it for yourself.
This deal was available briefly last week, but if you missed out, it’s available again with a short backorder. Trust me, it’ll be worth the wait.
